PhD in Communication and Media studies, University of Paris 2 (Pantheon-Assas), 2005. Topic of dissertation: “In the name of the nation. Public discourse in Greece on the Macedonian issue and the role of the media (1991-1995)” (in French).

- Since 2014: Faculty member of the Department of Sociology, School of Social Sciences, University of Crete.
- 2010-2013: Member of the OSCE Mission to Skopje assigned with political analysis and interethnic relations.
- 2006-2010: Lecturer at the Department of Sociology, School of Social Sciences, University of Crete, acc. to P.D. 407/1980.
- 2005-2006: Researcher on Balkan Studies at the Institute of International Relations (IDIS) of Panteio University, Athens.
